German translation for the byline New

Section titled “German translation for the byline ”

The Aura Workflows byline item (the strip Confluence shows above the page title) is now fully translated into German for users with German as their Confluence language. Other surfaces continue to roll out in German over coming releases.

Restriction action: pick who keeps access New

Section titled “Restriction action: pick who keeps access ”

The Add restrictions action gained a Restrict to field. Pick a fixed set of users, groups, or user-typed workflow variables and the resulting page restriction grants view and edit only to that selection, alongside the page author, page owner, app user, and any active reviewers, who continue to be added implicitly. Previously the action restricted only to that implicit set with no way to extend it.

Approval transitions can now send periodic reminders to reviewers who haven’t voted yet. Configure the cadence (daily, every N days) and Aura Workflows sends a reminder email to outstanding reviewers, and only outstanding reviewers, until they vote or the transition resolves. Already-voted reviewers are excluded so the inbox stays clean.

Page expiration durations and dates can now reference workflow variables. A workflow used across many spaces can carry a @review_cycle_days variable that resolves to a different value per space, and the expiration on each page is derived from that variable rather than hard-coded on the workflow. Combined with space variables, this lets you configure one workflow once and have its expiration adapt automatically to each space’s policy.

A new macro renders the page’s freshness state inline: when it was last reviewed, when it next expires, whether it’s overdue. Pairs with the page-expiration system to give readers an at-a-glance signal that the content they’re looking at is current. Drop it into landing pages, indexes, or onto the page itself in a banner area.

Reminder emails deduplicate recipients Update

Section titled “Reminder emails deduplicate recipients ”

When a single user appears in a recipient list through multiple paths (for example, both as a named reviewer and through a group) they previously received one email per appearance. Aura Workflows now deduplicates by account ID across the full recipient list, so each user gets exactly one reminder per cycle.
